What's your skin type?

Skin types How to work out what type of skin you have? There are 5 types of skin type however I believe there are more. Let me go through a simple way of explaining and identifying the 5 types then will go into my thoughts on other skin types.  1. Normal Skin Wouldn't we all just want a normal skin type? Well what is normal skin -  Normal skin is someone who doesn't have oily or dry skin. They will have small size pores, no excess shine on their skin, few lines and wrinkles, skin tone even and no marks or blemishes. Also, no sunburns, irritation when using creams, oils and gels plus no major skin issues or problems like eczema.  Sounds like the perfect skin but even if you have a normal skin type it is important to follow a daily skincare routine to help maintain your skin balanced and keep your skin looking healthy and clean. It is normal to have the hormonal breakouts now and then so keep a daily routine going. 2. Dry Skin Now t

Organise your Skincare

Image
F irst step to your Skin Care routine Organising your Skincare We  all have our make up organised or a makeup bag to keep everything in one place. We even have our travel essentials which we arrange and sort out before we take off on a break or long holiday. Well, Skincare should be a priority. We should organise and arrange our skincare products too. Not forgetting body care, foot care and hair care products too. Nowadays if you go through your social media you will see all these pretty organised shelves, jars, cabinets all sorts. As well as looking amazing it actually helps inspire and keep you wanting to use and look after your skin once you're in a habit and have a dreamy satisfying shelf. Am sharing my old images of how my corner of makeup and skincare products use to be to how I managed to organise it into a skincare corner.    Before and After Now don't feel pressured into buying a whole new shelf, unit or cupboard to store your products. Honestly,

Skincare during a flight. Is it necessary?

Is it necessary and what is the correct way ? So loads of trends are showing off a good skin care routine during a long flight but the fact is, do we really need to do? As per usual I like to keep things short and simple so it's easily understood. Flights cause the skin to dehydrate fast, skin becomes more sensitive and weak. After listening to and reading facts about recycled air plus how germs are so easily caught during a flight, you really need to double think whether it's even worth doing a skincare routine on board. My personal thoughts are its a NO NO! Planes are disgusting and dirty, in many ways. By doing a clean skincare on a long flight means your moving around bacteria on the top surface of your skin, not really cleaning (That put me off) also being on a plane is like being in a desert. It's is so drying so if you were to put on a sheet mask. The moment you take it off you have just doubled the amount of moisture that gets sucked out of your skin. Eve
