A week ago I was flicking through my Snapchat and I noticed a Cosmopolitan Snap which highlighted - DO NOT WEAR UNDERWEAR TO BED. That instantly made me read about it and put thousands of questions in my mind. My initial thought's were
'ewwwww why would you not wear underwear to bed isn't that disgusting?'
'Is it not uncomfortable not to wear shorts or underwear to bed?'
'I don't think this is something many people do? Do they?'
Many more questions came up...

Well once I read the article and then researched more about this topic it made me think twice. So I thought why not share this topic with my readers. It is a very interesting topic plus you get to learn a few facts that you may not have known.

Most Women and Men wear underwear when sleeping. Wether they are wearing knickers, thongs or shorts its simply covered. The main facts that i will be pointing out are for Women. Covering your Private parts all hours with no air to breath means more bacteria. This may lead to more Yeast infections and other scary stuff. So if your constantly having your down below covered this can course many issues. There is a solution so not to worry, like the article mentions 'Its time to bring out the Granny Pants' yes that is an ideal way. You don't have to go to bed with nothing, you just have to allow yourself to wear a loose big size, cotton underwear or boxers. You can actually get the most comfortable ones from the Men's section ;)
I love my PJ's so this is something that made me feel awkward but hearing that Granny Pants will do the trick put a smile on my face.

Did you know sleeping without underwear can acutely get you a better and good night sleep. Yes its true. Our body temperature is at its highest during the main hours in the night. By not wearing your underwear it allows your body temperature to reduce and stay cool. This helps with a longer safe and sound sleep. This instantly results in a good morning feeling energetic by just having a good night sleep.

Well these were some of the main discussions that were mentioned and written up in details. I think it was good to have a read and look at facts for this topic however everyone has their own thoughts.

Personally my opinion or should I say my thoughts is that it doesn't really matter wether you wear or not wear underwear to bed. Main facts to keep Bacteria away and prevent Yeast infections e.t.c is to keep clean after every Toilet use and daily change, Shower your body to keep up to high levels of Hygiene. Night time just wear loose Pj's or clothing which you feel comfortable in and get a good night sleep. When Women are on their Monthly cycle, there is no way you can sleep or even go into bed without an underwear ( Confused face ) Well I know I can't.

So my lovely ladies you don't have to go commando at night its all about switching up your regular tight underwear or garment to loose fitting Pyjamas. Hope you found this blog useful as this made me question a lot but I ended up sticking to what I know is best and what I feel comfortable with :)
