Real Technique Lip Kit
Limited Editon - Sam and Nic Chapman
I got these on offer at Superdrugs. I saw it and thought what a bargain. Bought it for £3.49. I love Real Technique bushes and sponge so I thought why not try this Lip kit out. The packaging is great. Black and Pink really stands out plus it comes with a brush holder. This is an ideal gift for any beauty lover. If am honest the moment I touched the bristles of the brushes I was so disappointed. I can tell straight away if they are good quality and if they would work. Don't get me wrong yes they will work ok on your lips but personally for lips I expected softer fine bristles to really work well on lips. These were very hard and strong. The lip smoothing brush was so hard it would literally scrap of anyone's lips. It wouldn't really soften the lip texture how you'd want it to. Anyone with sensitive lips may find this brush too harsh and can damage the surface of the lip skin.
The packaging, price and kit it self is amazing however the main thing is the product it self. The brushes are a No No for me. I would not recommend this to anyone. Such a shame as everything else is a thumbs up but the truth is its should be all about the brush it self.
I really liked the fact you can just put all four brushes into the little storage pot. It has a little mirror which allows you to see your lips which is so cute. Each brush has its own name - Prep, Line, Color, Perfect and Store. The whole idea of the kit is great but sadly the quality is not likable. Its a limited edition so these won't be in store for a long time. Glad I tried and tested it out for myself to see if they were any good.
This has to be one product that I disliked from the Real Technique range.
Has anyone tried this? If yes then would love to hear your feedback weather you agree with me or actually liked it?
